As we finished the 2011 year i have to say how proud i am of the referee's. Their standards were high and the quality of what they delivered was constantly mentioned to me by parents and players. I have witnessed parents cheering for a referee at the end of a game. I didn't think such a thing was possible! I thank all those involved ......being firstly the referee's, our referee manager (Sunny Afshar) and our referee appointments officer (Nel Cooper), they have laid a great foundation for the future. I'm also proud that our committee is determined to create a positive and safe environment for those new referee's to learn in.

Congratulations to Stephen Potticary who was awarded the "Referee of the Tournament"

Congratulations also to Adam Liesch who was awarded "Referee Encouragement Award" Unfortunately Adam couldn't receive his trophy on the night because he was knocked out playing his U18 game and taken to hospital.

Once more, I would like to congratulate you all and say well done on your achievement towards your first successful and well received Futsal Refereeing competition.

From here on, you all can and will only improve further and also gain more confidence in every facet of the game.

Keep up the good work team and hope you all do well in every goal that you have set out to achieve.
